Moynat’s Oh Tote Comes in a New Canvas 1920 Line
The iconic Initial canvas from Moynat forms the perfect backdrop for this updated tote with a blend of fun and class. The Oh Tote has a leather handle with circular chapes and is entirely lined in the same linen-cotton canvas that is used for the outside of the bag with no visible seams on the inside, a refinement and elegance of finish that is echoed in the leather binding along all the edges and a fine leather piping along the bottom.
The Initial print is delicately picked out in bronze, metallic pigment. The canvas has a soft, natural and powdery finish, far from the plastic-like finish noticeable in most coated canvas. One face carries a sporty 3-colour stripe that recalls the brand’s historic personalised trunks and logo, individually hand screened on each bag. In keeping with Moynat philosophy, the light-hearted pieces are just as luxuriously finished as the rest of the collection.
The beloved Quattro tote makes a comeback in the 1920s line with the same sporty stripe and circular logo as the Oh Tote. The refined finishing, the leather binding and the linen-cotton lining are also present in this version of the Quattro, while its slim, vertical proportions offer an alternative to the more gently curved shape of the Oh.
There is also a clever, lightweight weekender—imagine an oversized Oh Tote bag where the top corners can be buttoned down to give it that sporty edge. The opening is zipped and an additional lock provides discretion. This 48H Weekender is lined with cotton grosgrain canvas and has two inner zipped pockets to tuck away smaller objects. The longer handles enable you to carry the Weekender on the shoulder, leaving the hands free for an active weekend.
