Panerai’s Latest Pop-Up Store Transports You Into an Underwater World
From now to 29 September, Panerai, the Florentine luxury watchmaker has unveiled an experiential pop-up store located on level one of ION Orchard.
Spanning across 105 square metres, the installation seeks to immerse guests and watch aficionados alike in an underwater environment filled with dangerous species, where only the bravest divers dare to enter; giant octopus tentacles of seven metres reaching up to the mall’s second storey, making for an unseen and unexpected sight, with sharks dangerously lurking around and sunken warships launching torpedoes.
“Our mission is to build a tailor-made universe around the concept, where the essence of the brand is embodied,” says Alvaro Maggini, the first Creative Director in the history of the Maison. “The sea has always been our natural habitat.”
To mark the 70th anniversary of the iconic Panerai Luminor, a new collection of models are showcased, including the new Luminor Marina Carbotech—44mm (PAM01661) with a widely distinctive identity: a Carbotech case and a Sandwich dial with blue Super-LumiNova markings—a further testimonial to the unequalled Lab-ID.
